Nelly G. Vasquez Esq., received her law degree from Universidad de El Salvador in 2008. She is fluent in Spanish and worked as a practicing attorney in El Salvador before immigrating to the United States with her family. She represented clients in variety of Family Law Issues including, dissolution of marriage, child support modifications, custody disputes, domestic violence, and parole processes. She also received her Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management in 2015.

Nelly earned her LL.M. degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Law in 2020. She graduated with the highest GPA in the history of the program (4.02 out of 4.0) and received the Faculty Award for highest performance and grade in the Evidence course. Nelly has taught Corrections for Park University and currently serves as a representative at the UCI Law Alumni Association.

Nelly joined Family Law Matters in 2022 because she shared the Firm’s mission, to help, guide, and protect her clients’ and their loved ones. Nelly understands how difficult a divorce or custody battle can become which is why she makes it her mission to protect and advocate for her clients in and outside of the court. She understands how it feels to have your life turned upside down in an instant.

Nelly is compassionate about her career as an attorney and believes that her role is to both advocate for and counsel her clients. Her clients love how passionate she is about representing them. Nelly spends countless hours preparing for her cases and does not leave a stone unturned to protect her clients. In her free time, Nelly loves spending quality time with her family and colleagues.
